It's Strawberry Time in Arkansas

Beautiful strawberries that taste as sweet as they look.  The fields started being picked a month early this year (mid-March).  The fields still look to be bearing well, so we will have the fresh berries for a while yet.

It is hard to believe how long it has been since I added a new post to this blog.

Earlier this week I spent a few days at a knitting retreat. I met some wonderful knitters and we instantly became friends.  I hope by bringing this blog back to life, I will be able to stay in touch with these new friends.

I miss being surrounded by strawberries when we lived in CA! Enjoy a fresh one with some whipped cream and a sweet tea and think of me!

Best with shortbread biscuits and heavy cream - but now we do just the berries, sigh.

I'm still just looking at my dreamy yarn from camp and enjoying the possibilities.

What a great time. Loved the drum carder and being with all of you.
